Special Education Groups
Special Education groups visiting Frisco Fire Safety Town will receive a one-hour firefighter guided tour of the facility providing lessons in all four of the following topics:
Severe Weather Safety
Home and Life Safety
All lessons are presented in a hands-on way. (There is no ride time included with this program)
We recommend this as a small group activity with 20 people or less (including students and teachers.)
Programs are offered twice daily during the school year from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.* and 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.*. During our summer session, special education groups may schedule during any available tour time.
How to Register
Frisco I.S.D. schools will have scheduling priority through mid-November. Open registration for other school districts starts mid-November. All registration is done online by choosing an ‘available’ class option on our school year calendar (or calling for available times during the summer session) on the date you desire. Please provide details about your group in the notes section of the online form.
To assist classroom educators, we have created a Life Skills and Special Education Pre-Visit Teacher Resource Guide that includes an overview of the program.
