We are open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; We are closed on the weekends and all City of Frisco holidays --New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day/day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (observed on Friday/Mondays if holiday falls on weekend.) All visits are by appointment only.

Frisco Fire Safety Town is a study trip destination. If your child attends Frisco ISD he/she will likely visit during either Kindergarten, First Grade, or Fourth Grade and possibly all three. If your child is preschool aged or attends school outside of FISD there are some other options for you: You can schedule a public tour. We do ask that you call in advance to schedule your tour. (972-292-6350) Also, for all families interested in attending, we offer night time special events three times per year. Visit our special events page for details. Additionally, you can find more information on our website about other opportunities for visiting that may fit your needs: Home School Groups, Out of District Groups, and Special Education Groups.
Frisco Fire Safety Town has programs designed for children who are attending or have completed kindergarten through 5th grades. Safe and Sound Walk-Around educational tours are available weekly for all ages.
We often can have a volunteer or staff member attend school or community events to provide safety education, materials, etc. If you would like to make a special requests for our participation in such events as Health/Safety Fairs, Career Days, Civic Group Meetings, HOA Member Events, and similar community functions. Please use our online request form. Please note, we try to accommodate each request in some way; However, due to staffing limitations and scheduling conflicts we may not be able to provide a personal appearance for each request. Jeep rides are available following kindergarten or first grade safety classes, or at one of our summer special events. Bike rides are offered after all other classroom programs (except babysitter safety) and also at our summer special events.
The Frisco Fire Department does not do car seat inspectoins. To find car seat information as well as look for inspection stations in your area, please visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website.
Our Frisco Fire Safety Town General Store is inside our educational building. We sell Frisco Fire Department and Safety Town apparel and other novelty items. Store hours are regular business hours only (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F) at Frisco Fire Safety Town.
