How do I find Safety Town?  Be aware our parking lot entrance is on one street (Main Street) and our physical address is another (Gary Burns Drive). Most navigation systems will direct you to Central Fire Station, next door to us. Please use our directions to easily arrive at our facility.

• Approaching from Dallas North Tollway - headed east on Main Street, our parking lot entrance is the first one on the right past Woodstream Dr. (If you go past it, please proceed to nearby retail lots on Main Street to turn around. Do not turn into emergency vehicle driveway.) 
• Approaching from Preston: headed west on Main Street, go straight through intersection of Gary Burns Drive, our parking lot entrance is the first one on the left past the emergency vehicle drive of fire station.
• Approaching from Preston: headed west on Gary Burns Drive, proceed past Tomlin Drive, turn left at Main Street; Headed west on main, our parking lot entrance is the first one on the left past the emergency vehicle drive of fire station.

Visitor Parking: Vehicle parking is first come-first served at all available spaces at Safety Town. Our address is 8601 Gary Burns Drive. However, one must enter off of Main Street just west of Main Street & Gary Burns Drive. Parking is available in front of the building. If our lot is full, overflow parking is available at Central Administration on the north side. Proceed around the Safety Town building using the covered driveway, go through the south parking lot behind the fire station, exit lot and turn left on Tomlin Dr. Then take an immediate left into the Central Fire's north parking lot. Do not use the emergency vehicle driveway when entering or exiting our lot.

Bus Entry/Drop Off/Parking: School buses should also enter off Main Street in front of Safety Town building. See directions listed above to arrive directly in our parking lot. After turning into our lot, proceed past the front entry, turn right and proceed to the covered driveway. The Bus Entrance Door is under the covered drive on the right. To exit after drop off, continue through south parking lot. Buses often park at the nearby shopping center while waiting for pick up time. Bus drivers should check with staff at drop off to confirm the return time for pick up. If your group is from out of town and going to the park, see our directions to Frisco Commons Park.
