To be eligible to ride a jeep, a child should be between 40" & 50 " tall. A child must fit in the jeep properly, with seatbelt buckled and be able to reach pedals to be allowed to ride. Any student not eligible to ride can practice pedestrian skills during ride time. (Adults do not fit in our jeeps.)
During study trip visits, teachers are encouraged to bring 10-12 parents to assist with ride time.
During public visit activities each jeep rider needs to have an adult who can assist him/her with steering and/or general guidance staying in lanes, turning the correct direction, stopping at red lights. etc.
Younger siblings who are at least two years old may ride as a passenger in the jeep.
